Time Goes On

What is it ??

A time tracking App that uses hackatime's time tracking abilities to represent your coding time as A GROWING TREE. YES! A procedurally growing Tree.

How it works:

• The unity project pulls in data from hackatime using APIs and parses it all into text.
• Then that text is used to be either displayed or be used as parametres for the tree.
• The tree grows with the users streak, as soon as the application opens the user is prompted with a textbox asking for thier unique API key.
• (dont trust me on giving me your API KEY?: The code is right here in the repo, check out the "evil schemes" im plannin.)
• and using that API key the app gets the user data about their streaks, projects and most importantly TIME.
• BOOM your streak is now a TREE and you see it grow.

Key features:

• The Walls show you your ALL time and today time gloriously.
• The tree GROWS as your streak increases and can keep doing it indefinitely as its all procedural.
• The tree also SHRINKS if you break your streak and then DIES if the streak is not revived within a week of breaking it.
• There is realtime Day/Night cycle taken in from the system.time and changes the skybox to morning, evening and Night time.
• and its just pretty and cozy.
